Maria Espinel, ARNP, Nurse Practitioner
Maria Espinel is a Family Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified by the American Academy Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC), and licensed by the State of Florida.
Maria began her career in health care as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at the age of 17. Since then, she has accumulated nearly 12 years of experience and education in various areas of patient care. While working as an LPN, Maria pursued her interest in nursing, graduating with honors, from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing. Maria has always stated that knowledge is power and her desire for professional growth has remained relentless. While employed as a Registered Nurse at Broward Health Medical Center she attended Florida Atlantic University where she acquired a Master’s of Science in Nursing.
Maria is passionate about building long lasting and trusting relationships with patients. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking the time to listen and understand patient’s needs. As of 2016, Maria partners with Dr. Wilson DuMornay at Broward ENT Services. She is involved in the entire continuum of care of Dr. DuMornay’s patients in the office, operating room, or hospital.
Maria is an active member of several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) and The Society of Physician Assistants in Otorhinolaryngology/Head & Neck surgery (SPAO-HNS).
One of the primary goals of the practice is to provide quality cutting-edge therapies for our patient population. Our universal focus is on compassionate care and the development of non-surgical therapies and minimally invasive procedures when indicated. We provide a comprehensive ENT service, which includes Audiology, Balance testing and physical therapy, Voice disorders, Allergies, Sinusitis, Sleep Apnea, Head and Neck disorders and In Office CT imaging.
Kendra Medrano, PA-C, Physician Assistant
Kendra Medrano is a Physician Assistant certified by the Florida Board of Medicine and licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
She began her career as a Medical Assistant in OB/GYN and then in Plastic Surgery where she discovered her true calling. Her love for surgery was undeniable and henceforward, aspired to work in the surgical field.
Kendra graduated from Keiser University with her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. She first worked as a hospitalist in Infectious Disease immediately following her certification. Although she enjoyed the field and gained valuable knowledge, she truly desired to obtain a job in Surgery.
As of 2017, Kendra happily partnered with Dr. Wilson Dumornay working in all aspects of his ENT practice. Her main priorities are as a Hospitalist and First Assist in surgery. Her main focus is to create and provide trusting and compassionate care for each one of her patients.
Nicole Triana, MS, PA-C, Physician Assistant
Nicole Triana, MS, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and licensed to practice in the state of Florida.
Nicole graduated Magna Cum Laude from Florida International University with a Bachelors in Psychology. She began her career as a Behavior Analyst Assistant treating children with autism spectrum disorders and other developmental disorders. She continued to pursue her passion in medicine at Keiser University and obtained her Masters in Science and become licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. Nicole began her career as a Certified Physician Assistant in Psychiatry at Broward Health Imperial Point, providing mental health services on an inpatient and outpatient basis.
With the desire to help individuals both mentally and physically, Nicole partnered with Wilson Dumornay, MD at Broward ENT Services. She specializes in the treatment of ears, nose, mouth, throat and related structures of the head and neck. Nicole provides health care services to patients and performs a variety of duties in the evaluation, planning and treatment of patients in both our office locations, hospital, and operating room.
