Be Free of Sinus Congestion
Balloon sinuplasty, also known as balloon dilation surgery, is a minimally invasive alternative to traditional sinus surgery. Compared to traditional methods, balloon sinuplasty requires no cutting and no removal of bone and tissue when expanding the sinus opening in order to expedite drainage of the clogged sinuses.
When performing a balloon sinuplasty (BSP), ENT doctors will use a small, flexible, balloon catheter to open up blocked sinus passageways and facilitate drainage of the mucus that builds up in patients suffering from chronic sinusitis symptoms. Once the sinus balloon is inflated, it restructures and widens the walls of the sinus passageway. In addition, the gentle nature of the inflated balloon helps to maintain the integrity of the sinus lining.

Experience Clinically Proven Results
Published clinical data in the leading ENT journals have shown that balloon sinuplasty is a safe and effective procedure. In a follow-up study tracking patients two years after their balloon sinuplasty surgery, the majority of patients who were suffering from chronic sinusitis reported significant improvement in sinus symptoms and overall quality of life. In addition, recovery time after a balloon sinuplasty procedure is typically very fast. While times will vary with each patient, studies have shown that most patients are able to return to work and their normal routine within two days.
